We are now offering memberships to our studio/class space
starting September 1, 2022!
NO ONLINE REGISTRATION- for your first month, please register in person or call.
Memberships are $200.00 monthly and include unlimited visits during scheduled time slots.
Times included are:
Tuesdays 9am-12pm and 6pm-10pm
Thursdays 1pm-4pm
Saturdays 12pm-4pm
Sunday times 12pm-3pm
Member time slots are subject to change.
Members will receive 10% off class fees and $25.00 off private lessons.
MEMBERSHIPS are paid monthly and fees are due the 1st day of each month.
You will receive a recurring monthly invoice via Paypal OR pay in person at the studio.
Fees must be paid before any use of studio.
DESCRIPTION:
Independent studio use- includes handbuilding and wheel throwing areas. This is non-instructed time for artists to work independently. To use the pottery wheels, you must have completed two six week pottery wheel classes. To use handbuilding equipment, you must have completed one six week handbuilding/sculpture class. If you have not had instruction on the wheels or handbuilding in MCW studios, you are not permitted use of the equipment unless you can prove proficiency from prior experience. All members must have completed at least one six week class at Markgraf Clayworks regardless of prior clay experience! This is to ensure that you are familiar with our studio, policies, and equipment. We have the right to review and approve/reject all membership enrollments. If at any time our policies and procedures are not adhered to, we have the right to revoke membership status without refunds.
Members must have their own tools. CLAY IS NOT INCLUDED WITH MEMBERSHIP FEE. Clay must be purchased from Markgraf Clayworks and includes use of house dipping glazes and firings. Members will be given a shelf to store works in progress as well as storage space for clay and tools. If you are not an active member, you will have to clear your shelf space out at the end of your month. If your shelf is not cleared, we will relocate your works, tools and clay and hold for 2 weeks after which time we have the right to discard or repurpose. Wheels are available on a first come basis.

No production pottery! Markgraf Clayworks studio and class space is for ceramic education and recreation. We
reserve the right to limit how much clay can be purchased within a certain time period.

MONTHLY 4 VISIT PUNCH PASS:
If you are an established student of Markgraf Clayworks who is not currently enrolled in a class or membership,
you may purchase a monthly pass which includes four visits for $112.00. Clay is not included
and must be purchased separately from Markgraf Clayworks and will include the cost of firings
and use of house dipping glazes.
**Passes are only good for the month they are purchased.**
Unused visits will not carry over to the following month.
All policies and procedures still apply. By purchasing a punch pass, you
acknowledge and agree to our policies and procedures.
