Service Description

A total of six classes: 6/21, 6/28, 7/5, 7/12, 7/19, skip a week for drying and bisque firing, and final glaze class on 8/2. MAKEUP-WED. July 26 6-9PM One makeup class per student will be accommodated and will be held for all who missed a regularly scheduled class on the off week Discover your inner animal! This class is designed to help you hone sculptural skills directly related to animals. Create animal pots, sculptures and tile wall pieces of your favorite animals, insects, fish and birds. Clay will be provided, however, each student is responsible to provide their own basic tool set. Each set should consist of a pin tool, soft rib, wood knife, scoring tool, small sponge, and misc forming tools. While at the studio students will have access to other specialty tools and form. Students will also be required to research animal reference material and come to class prepared to create. Please read our studio policies and procedures. By registering for a class you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our procedures/policies. Unfortunately, we are located on the third floor without an elevator so we are not handicap accessible. Please contact us for opportunities to bring a class to you.

Cancelation Policy

Full refund or credit will be issued for any class cancelled by Markgraf Clayworks. If a student must cancel, they may do so for a full refund minus a $25 processing fee up to 7 days before the start date of the class. If a student cancels within 7 days of the start date of the class, they will receive a credit to be applied toward another class. Credit must be used within 6 months. Student will be responsible for any part of class fee greater than their credit due. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class.
