Service Description

A total of six classes: 3/8, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5, 4/12, skip a week for drying and bisque firing, and final glaze class on 4/26. One makeup class per student will be accommodated and will be held for all who missed a regularly scheduled class on the off week- Wed. April 19, 6-9 pm. NOTE: THERE IS NO CLASS ON 3/15 AS THE STUDIO WILL BE CLOSED WHILE WE ATTEND NCECA. An excellent class for those new to working with clay. Each week, projects will be introduced that demonstrate different handbuilding techniques and surface treatments. Through the fun and playful garden theme, students will have the opportunity to explore construction methods and finishing strategies. Although this class is well suited to beginners, projects can be adapted to all skill levels. Projects will include tiki torches, hanging planters, animal pots and gnomes. (project list subject to modification) Students should have their own set of tools. Please read the policies and procedures. Cancelation Policy

Full refund or credit will be issued for any class cancelled by Markgraf Clayworks. If a student must cancel, they may do so for a full refund minus a $25 processing fee up to 7 days before the start date of the class. If a student cancels within 7 days of the start date of the class, they will receive a credit to be applied toward another class. Credit must be used within 6 months. Student will be responsible for any part of class fee greater than their credit due. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class.
