Service Description

A total of six classes: 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, skip a week for drying and bisque firing, and final glaze class on 10/23. MAKEUP-WED. 10/16 6-9PM One makeup class per student will be accommodated and will be held for all who missed a regularly scheduled class on the off week HALLOWEEN PARTY & PICKUP OF FINISHED PIECES WILL BE SUNDAY 10/29!! More details to follow! The return of this popular class will include exploration of handbuilding techniques as well as intensive experimentation with surface design! This year we will introduce application of overglaze details, as well as silkscreen, water etching, sgraffito and underglaze transfers. Projects will include cauldron mugs, bottles and flasks, skull boxes and witch/gnomes. Clay will be provided. Each student is required to have their own basic tool set. Each set should consist of a pin tool, soft rib, wood knife, scoring tool, small sponge and misc forming tools, While at the studio students will have access to other specialty tools and forms. Please read our studio policies and procedures. By registering for a class you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our procedures/policies. Our studio is located on the third floor without an elevator.

Cancelation Policy

Full refund or credit will be issued for any class cancelled by Markgraf Clayworks. If a student must cancel, they may do so for a full refund minus a $25 processing fee up to 7 days before the start date of the class. If a student cancels within 7 days of the start date of the class, they will receive a credit to be applied toward another class. Credit must be used within 6 months. Student will be responsible for any part of class fee greater than their credit due. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class.
