For youth ages 12 and up! Three week classes on the pottery wheel! Learn the basic steps to. throwing on a pottery wheel. Learn how to trim and finish your pots and paint in colorful glazes. You can expect to make 4-6 pots during this session. Pots will be ready for pickup about 4 weeks after class ends. Students should wear hair back, have nails trimmed short and wear closed toed shoes. Emergency contact information will be requested at the first class. We are located on the third floor. Parents are required to drop off and pickup on the third floor! There is no elevator! NOTE: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE REGISTERING Due to the short term of this class, we do not provide makeups for missed classes. Each class of the session builds upon the last so you MUST be able to attend the first class- you won't be able to "jump in" and catch up in the second class. If you miss the second class, you will not be able to finish the pieces from your first class. If you miss the last class you will not have the opportunity to glaze your pieces. Please review class dates carefully to assure you do not have conflicts. These classes fill up very quickly so if you miss the first class we cannot guarantee that we can reschedule. We do not refund class fees within 7 days of the start of the class or after the session has started. If for some reason you are registered and cannot attend, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to place you in a future session that is not full. We want you to be able to have the best experience possible.
